day, in every way, I am getting better and better."

INTRODUCTION
‘How to LIVE to 100+ Years free from Symptoms and Disease
– Dietary Guidelines’, (Dr David Collison, Oracle
Press, 2001) sets out what not to eat (including those foods to
which there is intolerance or allergy), as well as what to eat,
and in what way these foods should be consumed, in order to prevent
illness and disease and to reverse any existing disease.
In essence, this book directs us to the lifestyle and
the associated diet to enable us to ‘DIE HEALTHY’.
Chapter 11 sets out the rationale for, and explains why,
supplements are also necessary. Even a diet of the best organically
grown, properly prepared, mainly raw, correctly combined foods,
consumed as recommended and in the right amounts, is deficient,
especially in vitamins, minerals and trace elements.
Dietary supplements are recommended, especially for those
with health problems, that is, disease with associated symptoms.
They should also be taken in the absence of symptoms (perfectly
healthy people do not suddenly wake up one day with ‘bad luck’
– a coronary or a cancer).
When such a recommendation is made, one of the most commonly
asked questions is “How fast will these supplements work?”
